Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
To put it bluntly, Morehouse College is phenomenal for Business/Economics majors, or anyone looking to break into the corporate world. The networking opportunities are endless, especially if you reach out and find them. This year, JP Morgan hired 14 interns and 7 full time students from the class. While the coursework is easy (so far) the amount of opportunities far outweigh the negatives. If you come here not on scholarship, get off campus as fast as you can, the facilities are garbage, the cafeteria has stupid hours, and this week I took probably 3 or so cold showers… There is a new President, however, and he is making some significant changes, starting with the faculty which have improved, and there are many more good things on the way.Overall the outlook for Morehouse is bright. Awesome for business majors, also having a rigorous pre-med program, however I can't speak for any of the opportunities there. If you are interested in business/finance and want a school that competes with the Ivy's as far as internships and opportunities go, Morehouse is the school for you.Welcome to the House.
