I attended the Madison Campus for three years, transferred over from the University of New Haven. I lived on campus my first year at FDU, then decided to commute because I was more interested in my studies. I went to FDU for marketing and had the most amazing marketing Professor. If you have to take a marketing class, take Munoz. She is very passionate about both marketing and teaching, which makes her classes very enjoyable. You do have to work in her class to earn a good grade, which is one of the reasons why I loved her.

I am currently doing marketing at a very respected company. They were very impressed with FDUs curriculum

and could not wait to hire me. They felt that I received a well rounded education that will allow me to go far in my career. Between the reputation of FDU and their business cirriculum, I was a shoe in for this position (which I love).

There are some professors that are very nice but get sidetracked very easily, then there are the mean professors. You do luck out and get some great professors, and I was lucky to have many of the great professors FDU has to offer.

I never had an issue with advising, which could be because I worked in the office. I hate when people say negative things about it because I saw how hard the advisors worked to do what was best for the students. A lot of the time, the students would do their own thing and screw up their schedules. They would come back to the office and blame the advisors, when it was entirely the students fault. If they followed the checksheets they were given (with highlights to show which classes to take next), there would have been no problems.

I don't know if I enjoyed FDU so much I trasnferred from a school where I was teaching the professors, or because it is just a good school. But I was happy with my experience and am considering going back to get my MBA in marketing.
