Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
On paper, this is a great school to attend, and in many ways it is. Faculty and staff are usually very helpful, and if you are academically inclined, there are ways to help you succeed in just about anything. I have attended for 4 years now, so they're doing something right (to my satisfaction). However, UD is not specific on who they accept into the school. They are very focused on diversity, which is great (I have made friends from around the world while I've been here) , but not to the point that they take it. They allow a lot of people into the school (of all types) that really don't care about the university, university involvement, and even academics. This is a problem because it drags down the quality of campus life, involvement, and the classroom atmosphere. My advice for anyone coming into this school is if you know what major(s) you might want to work towards, contact the head of the department to see about sitting in on a couple of classes to scope out the learning and social environments. It might help you make a more informed decision on whether or not you want to attend UD.
