I really enjoyed my first year here, and learned a lot. Contrary to popular belief by some at other Alabama schools, coursework IS challenging here. I worked my butt off. Teachers are great and helpful. But you must got to class and put in the effort. The campus and town is typical dated southern college town, but quaint and friendly. What makes JSU is the people- both the students and faculty/staff. A lot of value for the money, and scholarships are fairly easy to get something from them. Great business program, and the best band program anywhere.
