I am actually a female, but accidentally forgot to change the gender from male to female. |
It is so obvious that Long Beach is a gang area. This school's degree isn't impressive. Anyone can get into CSULB. It's just like a high school. |
Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
I was undecided on how to base my opinion on the fact that I am mixed between positive and negative. The students were mixed between good and bad. I talked to some really nice people who I enjoyed talking to before classes and there were those I chose to stay away from because of their poor attitudes. The class availability was sometimes conveinent and sometimes not. I would have to find classes that were offered in the day and sometimes, I had great instructors and there were a few professors who I seriously regretted taking. School spirit was definitely huge here, which is good, even though I was not invovled with their athletics nor did I follow their sports. Library had a lot of opportunities of places to study including quiet rooms, etc. and had different varities of books that I needed for my research projects which is a plus. I like how there were many events offered throughout the campus for everyone. My biggest complaints are how the campus is poorly maintained with the bathrooms not properly working, grafitti in some stalls (it makes me wonder if there are unknown gangs around town), the a/c on in the winter and the a/c not on in the summer. My other issue is how the school allows flyers for nightclubs when there are a number of students who are under the age of 21, and the flyers contain racy images which easily entices college students into drinking and making careless decisions.I don't regret getting my diploma as I worked my rear end off to get it without being a super-smart student.
