Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
Academically: Science majors have a hard time and spend lots of hours in lab and studying. The professors are very good and helpful outside of class. Trinity has few ties to companies. It is not an actively recruited by any major science or engineering firms. Trinity does however have many ties to grad schools. If your looking to go to grad school, go to Trinity. If not, it makes it hard to justify attending here if you can't turn your degree into a job.University Resources: Career center needs a complete overhaul. When I went in as a Sophomore to get help writing a resume, I was told, "We don't really do technical resumes" referring that the career center caters to business majors and if your major is anything technical you're out of luck. Greek life is hated unconditionally by the dean of students and president. They actively go out of their way to make this known. Social life on campus is very good. There are numerous clubs and activities to get involved with. And downtown San Antonio is close but expensive. There are numerous local places nearby. If people talk about the "Trinity Bubble" and Trinity Student never leaving campus, they and those students never tried very hard to get off campus and see the city. All and all I had a great experience at Trinity, but having every major company I apply to ask where is Trinity, that they've never heard of it, and want to know what a B.S. in Engineering Science is has been very disheartening.
