I transferred out of this school after 2 years of misery. I felt very uncomfortable and unwanted to begin with and stuck it out as long as I could.

The first thing that you need to keep in mind before applying to North Central is the quarter system. 10 week terms are a lot of work compared to 15 week semesters. The teachers are very unforgiving of late work and they seem to assign even more work than you would get at a semester school, and most of it is busy work.

The second thing that students wishing to apply to North Central should know is, if you aren't on a sport or you are not in acting you will not have an accepting group to be a part of. I lived on campus for a year and did not make a single friend besides my roommate who ended up transferring after one year. In high school I made friends very easily, and outside of this school I make friends very easily, but the students here are stuck up and not accepting. I made more friends in community college than I did LIVING on campus here.

I do have to say I have had some great professors here, but I have also had some horrible ones to counteract that so I would give the faculty a C rating. My adviser never contacted me back when I would try to contact him, and when I first began at this school the majority of the faculty was extremely horrible at helping me find my way.

In conclusion, the majority of students at this school do not know how to have fun. If you are rude, stuck up, and spoiled then this is the perfect school for you.
