I have had family attend other schools throughout Texas and other states. When they speak of their educational experiences, campus life and activities, careers after graduation, satisfaction with their degree and desire to go even further. It is a different story from the PVAMU alumni that spoke to in the past and present, including myself. You get out of a school as much as you put into it. Just like a job or career. Just like many other school you will have some slackers or lazy dropouts. PVAMU is a smaller campus which means better teaching and learning abilities. You are not just a number in the classroom and expanded learning opportinities are available. When searching for a college you need to look at what your goals are in life and how that college will work for that goal along with your characteristics and best educational environment. It can be a science to selecting the best school for your degree. Before you decide look at how many executives, business owners, PH'd alumni and successful employees that are happy with their careers and motivated come from the school you are considering. Where do you want to be in that survey?
