First of all learn how to use the correct grammar. Secondly how are you offended that this is a religious school? They advertise that they are SDA. One of the questions on the applications are if you are okay with this fact. This is not any different than any other private schools. Which by the way are mostly religious. If you ask about tuition they will tell you, if you talk to the right office. You can even access you tuition breakdown through LLU account, no need to talk to someone if you don't want to. No big secret there. You are either lazy and don't know how to properly do the research or you expect everything to be done for you. I am not SDA, in fact no one I know is SDA. We have never once felt like an outsider. MSG: Yes please do research in fact you will find an inviting environment. Oh and BTW… tuition averages are posted on the main website. |

Yes, totally agree with the response, My class was 45%-50% non-SDA. I did not find out until after I graduated. Everyone is treated the same. Of course you are singled out if you are creating an issue. You probable would have had the same issues at another school. I think the problem here is you, and not the school. Like the other responder said, get your facts straight before you post. And a lot of clinical rotations are in remote places, because that is where they are needed the most. Oh and BTW, you are not very bright. |
Wow, you're doing a great job promoting the positive culture at the school. This is amazing - I will be printing these and showing them to our dean. |
Major: Nutrition (This Major's Salary over time)
STAY A WAY FROM THIS SCHOOL. WHY?1) VERY PARTIAL ATMOSPHERE, IF YOU ARE NOT A SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST THEY WILL GIVE YOU A VERY HARD TIME , YOU ARE PERCEIVED AS "OUT OF THEIR GROUP"2) THIS IS A RELIGIOUS SCHOOL AND MORE THAN 90% THE STUDENTS WHO CHOOSE THIS SCHOOL ARE SDA THEMSELVES, THEY WILL OF COURSE ADVERTISE FOR THIS SCHOOL AND DENY ANYTHING AGAINST IT BECAUSE ANY NEGATIVE STATEMENT ABOUT THIS SCHOOL IS PERCEIVED AS A THREAT FOR THEIR BELIEFS 3) THEY SCHOOL IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU ANY BREAKDOWN OF THE COSTS AND TRY TO CHARGE YOU EXTRA MONEY IN ANY WAYS THEY CAN.4) MOST INSTRUCTORS ARE VERY OLD AND NOT UPDATED ABOUT THE THE NEW INFORMATION AND THEY ARE VERY SELECTIVE TOWARDS THE TRUTHFULNESS OF THE INFORMATION THEY PRESENT.5) THEY CAN EASILY SINGLE YOU OUT AND GIVE YOU HARD TIME IF YOU TRY TO STAND FOR YOUR RIGHTS. I HAD CLASSMATES WHO WERE PROMISED TO GET THEIR TUITION REDUCED IF THEY WOULD TA for a class. THEY SPENT ALL THEIR SUMMER TAing AND AT THE END THE DIRECTOR OF THE NUTRITION PROGRAM WHO WAS CINDY KOSCH AT THAT TIME NOT ONLY DID NOT PAY THEM A PENNY BUT THE STUDENTS WERE SENT TO THE MOST REMOTE PLACES FOR THEY CLINICAL ROTATIONS WHEN THEY SPOKE OUT.6) IF YOU SEARCH THE LAWSUITS AGAINST THE SCHOOL, YOU WILL FIND LOTS OF CASES INCLUDING A FEDERAL LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS SCHOOL.PIECE OF ADVICE: DO YOUR SEARCH WELL BEFORE DECIDING TO APPLY TO THIS SCHOOL.
