After reading reviews about Gordon, I was kind of nervous about sending in my deposit. However, Gordon has been absolutely fantastic for me. It has really become my home. I had zero problems making friends, despite being generally recluse in high school, and the teachers really do seem to have you best interest in mind. Socially, it is what you make of it. Lots of students pout about lack of things to do, but don't do anything. I frequently made the best of it with my friends, and we would go and do stuff together. CEC (campus events council) does their best to make the campus more lively. Visitation rules can be kind of annoying, but after a year of them, I've accepted them. It is kind of nice to not worry about easily falling into sexual situations, but at the same time I feel capable of refraining from them independently. As far as privacy is concerned, it can be difficult between two sexes, but it is very easy to go to places where there is some. Dorms aren't really private places anyways…I love it, but it isn't for everyone.
