The school was GREAT for the first to years, but then the lies set in. I went to a private school to get more money and get classes, both faded once they had me hooked as a sophomore; but going into junior year was unbearable, I had to transfer. They are taking WAY too many kids, and do not have the space for them. The school is too political and if you are not everyones favorite, they will make sure you do not succeed. It was disappointing to experience.

At least you got to transfer and will not be stuck with a University of Loserville diploma. If you would rank the worst schools in the whole world, University of Loserville would be one of them.

You made the right decision to transfer when you saw for yourself how horribly ULV sucked. Another thing I hate about ULV is that the city of La Verne isn't like a genuine college town. La Verne is a boring and stupid city. And it's next to Pomona. Ghetto anyone?

From what you, the original reviewer said, I think that you deserve A LOT better than this shitty school. The community of La Verne is shitty also. There are lots and lots of better schools and communities than La Verne. Any derelect off the street can get into La Verne! ULV sucks balls!!!!

I can see where you are coming form with the over crowding of the classrooms. I graduated from ULV several years ago with a BS in Biology and was accepted into doctorates programs at USC, Loma Linda, and Western University’s. I do have to say that the biology department did an excellent job in preparing the students for careers and graduate school. Many of my classmates went on to jobs in research labs and other doctorates and masters programs and excelled in them. However, with all of that being said, I graduated at the time when Steve Morgan was stepping down form his role as president and the new president was coming into office. I have seen change some good and some bad. The branding of ULV as one of Americas best colleges brought in way too many students and the school lost its small liberal arts vibe now having classes that are 30-60 students when previously class sizes were 10-20 students. If making the decision over again I would seriously have to consider all of my options and look at how other schools compare in regards to the faculty and their involvement with students in club activities and research opportunists.

I would like to comment on the above comment on how the graduate of ULV got into good graduate programs like USC. I know for a fact that if you get into a good graduate program like ULV, it's because of your own drive and nothing to do with what ULV has to offer because ULV is worse than high school in education and in the social life. I know that people at USC view ULV as a joke. Employers call ULV University of Loserville and I can see why. University of Loserville is a horrible school and doesn't have a anything to be proud of.

Correction: Instead of "a good graduate program like ULV," I really meant "a good graduate program UNLIKE ULV." ULV is a stupid school. 13th grade, anyone?
