West Valley is not a terrible place to be even though it is a community college. As far as I can tell, what you get is what you put into the classes. If you want to get the best out of your experience here, you'll have to put that into your work. Most classes aren't too difficult unless they're major prep courses. All professors have office hours which they do attend and most will answer emails on a timely basis. As long as you keep an open mind, you're sure to do alright.I don't have complaints about the faculty or class sizes, but the courses I took were major prep courses. If you are taking general courses, the students in those courses tend to be less focused and and motivated.
