This is an AWFUL school. Ends up as expensive as any other. There are a bunch of hidden fees everywhere. Also, ''mediocre professors'' is being fair. Never had such a bad college experience in my life. I came here as an international student from Europe and the program in UTEP was a joke. If you want to earn a degree and not learn a single thing or pass without any kind of effort this is your place. The real world will take care of you, don't worry. EVERYONE cheats, even the professors who bring material they didn't even had to put effort on producing. And not talking about the dirty city… safest city in the world? LMAO yeah of course, if something has to happen they will take care of it in Juarez which you can actually see pretty well from UTEP as is not even half a mile away. I've never seen so many weirdos as well as soo many low class people together. The education level is so low in every aspect. RUDEST people I've met. STAY AWAY

commentGod!After reading all the reviews I feel so bad for my brother, who's going to join UTEP soon…damn,we shouldn't have listened to the education agency, who painted a rosy picture of this univ! The low fees should have rung a bell in our heads…I mean quality comes at a price, right?! Hopefully,he'll get accepted elsewhere soon..
Thanks to all for the honest feedback…
