Major: PreMed and Medical (This Major's Salary over time)
Registering classes for BioMedical Science majors is a joke here. I am currently a 5th level senior and FINALLY my 10th!!!!!! semester am able to register for organic chemistry lab before it fills up. Last semester by the time I was able to register it was already full. Additionally, for the last 3 semesters I have been unable to registrar for the 2 1-credit seminar classes that are required for my major to graduate. Finally they opened additional sections to accommodate for this problem, but its the same time as my organic chemistry lab. I can't switch my organic chemistry lab because the other sections are already full. Looks like I may be here an additional year because of 1 credit. This is happening to multiple of my friends as well. So I am here, taking less than 12 credits for 3 semesters in a row simply because the university is unable to provide enough classes for their students. DONT GO PRE MED HERE. THIS SCHOOL DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL GOALS. The library closes as early as 8pm on Friday and 6pm on Saturday. They must assume that everyone is partying every weekend. Also if you like working out, don't plan on going before noon on the weekends because the student activity center doesn't open till noon on those days. Again, the school is assuming everyone is hung over. On the other hand, if your planning on attending this university for business, advertising, teaching, marketing or something like that go here! Party it up and enjoy yourself! If you have higher ambitions with your life, don't expect this school to help you. They'd rather their students not study or stay healthy on the weekends and maintain that image of a party school. Don't get me wrong, I had my fun my first 2 years here. But after wanting to get serious about school I quickly found these flaws.
