Lasell College

I am currently a freshman at Lasell and I have to say I am very, VERY dissapointed. I was so excited to come here. The open houses, Lasell Day, and Orientation made me so pumped. Don't be fooled. I came here to find out that this school is the opposite of what I thought it would be. I had just an average gpa in high school, but I worked really hard, and had a job and an internship to get into Lasell since it said the average gpa was a 2.9. I had about a 2.7 and I got in and they gave me a scholarship. I was so happy. I came here to find out that people around me had a 1.8 gpa in high school (D+) and they got the same scholarship as me. It makes me feel really bad. Lasell obviously doesn't have standards There are a lot of unmotivated students who could care less about an education. The education here is a joke anyways. I was challenged more in my high school classes. Lasell is a good school for dumb alcoholic kids who want to drink their lives away at parties and do nothing else with their time. For kids who are motivated and actually want a good education and hardworking friends, don't come here. The people here who have fun are those people who had a D+ gpa in high school. Yes, Lasell is right outside of Boston. But nobody wants to go into Boston because everyone likes to just do nothing in their dorm rooms and stay on campus. I thought the kids here would be so different. I am planning on transferring as soon as possible.
