The Oct 30, 2013 post by the ?psychology? student is a bizarre conspiracy theory. Walden employees and professors wouldn?t waste their time posting on this useless site. I?m a PhD student at Walden that is posting simply because I hate the stupid baseless rants being posted here against Walden. I wish more Walden Alumni would post, but it?s a waste of their time too. Just as this is a waste of my time because any gorilla can post their thick-skulled baseless nonsense on this site - none of it has to be supported by any facts whatsoever.

Nonetheless, another great recent example of Walden being a reputable school is that 4 Walden graduates were just awarded the federal government?s Presidential Management Fellowship. Over 12,000 recent graduates nationwide applied, but only 663 were selected. A very small and elite group of young leaders. And, yes, ?Mr. Oct 30 2013 Psychology? every so-called ?non-profit? makes profit. The only difference between a proprietary corporation and 501(c) corporation is the regulation that stipulates how and what a 501(c) (socalled "non-profits")can do with their profits, and quite routinely the ?non-profit? corporate boardrooms vote to pay themselves large amounts of the profits in the form of immense salaries, bonuses, retirement packages, severance packages, etc. that rival and sometimes surpass socalled for-profit organizations. Lastly, even thought the dissertation approval process is grueling at Walden, that is how it is at every university. The folks complaining on this site about Walden and its dissertation process are not going to find it much different elsewhere.
