Rochester College is like a home away from home. It is where I met my wife, it is where I learned who I was and what I was about. Education like anything is something that the STUDENT must participate and work within, it is not something given…it is something earned. Many want their education spoon fed to them…if that is you than RC is not the school for you. To be honest no academic institution worth anything will work out for lazy, know it alls who are clueless regarding how education actually occurs. If you are ready to work and learn…than RC is the place for you. Professors and staff are like family friendships will be attained that last a lifetime and student life it well integrated into the overall college experience. There will be times where it feels like the professors hold an untenable expectation…suck it up and work harder, its for your own good. While response time can be slow remember this is education…not customer service…so be patient and if all else fails figure it out yourself. This is work…education is supposed to be difficult and challenging. It is meant to bend and break you so that you grow and mature. It hurts and at times…downright sucks…suck it up and grind through it. Believe me it is worth it.
