DO NOT GO TO DEAN. I myself read through the comments on this site before going here and ignored the bad because I figured you will always have to take the good AND bad.

I've only been here half of a semester and am already ripping the hair out of my head.

Students: DUMB as church mice! I can't fathom how they got in. Mostly the people here are cliquey and don't want to accept anybody new especially coming out of state. I came here because I had many family friend who went here and It was always said to be a great school. For me I had the most fun working at my job and work-study and enjoying the meeting and opportunities the school provides. The event's are great you can get a ton of free stuff however, if you don't know anybody or don't have a set of friends to go with it's awkward going alone.

Another thing that's annoying is the international students. They will cut you off in line for anything and everything. They compete like they're in the national Olympics. They get everything handed to them and take advantage of every SINGLE opportunity to get free shit and jack the white guy.

Staff: The advisors in the career planning office are great they help you with your career needs or direction you need to take with your major however the people in CSAS or Financial aid are unhelpful lazy motherfuckers. They really need to get their SHIT together! Everything is unorganized and whenever you go in to ask a question they just push the envelope. Nothing gets solved and they are constantly threatening you with fines and telling you, you are not meeting there standards when you are. They don't care all they want is a paycheck.

Surrounding area: The surrounding area is great it's a pretty, small town with a picturesque surrounding however it's a 15-20 minuet walk down to anywhere, weather it's a dunkins run or a simple walk to Stop & Shop.

Campus Security: Public safety doesn't do JACK SHIT! I have called them a few times when people upstairs where being loud and obnoxious and they practically came over slapped them on the wrist, and didn't do anything. Then when they left the people continued and made even more noise than before. They just pretty much walk around and act as if they are actual cops.
