Miami's City College RN program is a joke. They are unorganized. The Dean of the school Dr. Abraham is running the program, major is Psychology. The former chair of the program, resigned, as well as the most of the program instructors. They are only after taking out a vast amount of money for student loans. They are not even accredited. They say they are but its unclear. The program is a huge scam. The instructors that were there used to just pass students along. Then when it was time to take the state exam they all failed, and the school washes their hands with them, as it is not the schools fault that they failed. Dr. Abraham will state that perhaps 3 out of the 40 graduating students passed the exam. The fact is that that is the reason why the program has not been accredited. In order for them to be fully accredited, they need more then 3 successful students to be board certified. Further the previous students of the program, fyi since the program has not yet been accredited, the IRS( Dept. Of EDU) can take the student loans and transfer them back to the school, as they did not meet up to the requirements of financial aid standards. Good luck to you all. I am currently attending a wonderful school that is accredited.
