Mills prides itself on politically-correct diversity. There is, however, unbelievable ageism. They recruit older students but give the typical undergrad/grads (23 years old and younger) no training in this kind of diversity. In general, the class of young women here are provincial, prejudiced (all races included) and insensitive. Absolutely ignorant about how to get along with people of all ages. And they act like they are so enlightened! Disgusting. Most of the young students are incapable of treating older students as their equals. Horrible. If you are an older student, expect to be ignored, suffered, and never really a true collaborative partner. God help you with any group projects. In general, the faculty is super-nice, but the students are real unsophisticated hicks.
