Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
The graduate nursing program is not well organized. Teachers are very often unclear of their expectations for assignments and course work is in absurd amounts. Some faculty are very condescending and often send harassing emails. Professors lack good communication. I would expect a lot more from a graduate education program than this university has to offer. There is little support and assistance with thesis and evidence-based project writing and creation. Often professors are teaching subjects they know little about. Many of the professors are focused on research and lack clinical applicability of the materials they teach. Some classes are okay, but a majority of them are not. The program offers partial online completion of programs, this is a terrible idea. With teachers who already lack good communication about assignments and expectations, then meet very infrequently with their students and very often do not actually teach any of the classes. I have debated about quitting the program millions of times, but all my vested money and time would go to waste. Graduate credits do not transfer to other universities. I would never recommend anybody attend any of their graduate programs, especially the program for nursing organizational leadership. If you want to gain a valuable education this is not the institution for that.
