Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Horrible! Some good professors, but overall a terrible school. San Antonio is a dirty, boring city with a lazy culture and zero industry for engineering majors. The campus is an ugly jungle of concrete and pavement, construction is non-stop, and nobody has any school spirit. The city population is fat, unhealthy and uneducated. Many professors in sci/cs/engineering do not speak ENGLISH well enough to teach effectively. This university is all about making money and not at all about teaching. I found the majority of the course material to be busy work and not at all inspirational. I am a bright student who did well enough at UTSA to transfer out to a better engineering school ASAP. I am so happy I left UTSA for good, and I am sorry I ever attended. Bottom line: if you are fat, lazy, close-minded and stupid, go to UTSA, otherwise, look elsewhere.
