Major: Music - Composition/Theory (This Major's Salary over time)
Honestly, Bradley is a pretty good school. Most of the teachers care about you personally and your grades. However, I feel like there is not much to do here unless you're part of Greek life or like to go out and party every night. Sure, one night a month there is Late Night BU which always provides a bunch of fun stuff to do, but that's only one night a month. The only thing there is to do every other night is go to a frat house and get drunk. The area of Peoria surrounding the campus is not the nicest neighborhood at all. The actual campus is safe, but you can't really leave campus to do anything because Peoria offers NOTHING to do.Besides having nothing to do, the other issue I face is the music major program. Bradley does have a lot of benefits regarding a lot of other majors, but if you plan on being a music major, this is NOT the school for you. There are some ridiculous music requirements you have to deal with and unless you are a music performance major, you don't get anything out of them.I don't want to completely bash the school because I do like it here and I think it's a really nice school, but I probably should have done a little more research about the music program and Peoria in general before I made my decision. Currently, I am researching different schools that I could possibly transfer to now that I know what I want. Personally, I am just not feeling it here. If you like to party and are interested in a different major, then you'll probably get along perfectly here. I am not interested in either of those things and will probably transfer to a bigger school that offers more to me and my ambitions.
