How awful! I'm thinking of applying to that program also but I'm in the same situation with my depression issues. Did you disclose that to hem or did they somehow find out? |
Major: Social Work (This Major's Salary over time)
I was accepted to the advanced standing MSW program. I did not graduate. I paid 25,000 for 2 quarters in which I received straight A's and was not allowed to do my field work even though I was paying for it. Faculty tried to convince me to withdraw from the campus. When I went to the Dean to bring up unfair treatment I got the same story about the benefits of withdrawal. When I went to the office of Graduate Studies I got the same story. I figured it wasn't worth staying and paying all the money to be treated unfairly. The reason they wanted me out? Depression. That I was in treatment and on medication for. I had been cleared by my therapist to do the work but that didn't make any difference to a university that cared more about their appearance than their students.
