Hunter prides itself in being diverse but that is all BS. The staff is always unapproachable and snotty, no matter if you are nice or not to them, they will still treat you like an idiot. I don't understand why the staff needs to make the student body feel inadequate since it affects everybody by doing this. It only means that they are not paid well or that there are larger internal problems, but besides that really LARGE problem with staff, the other issue is the ciriculum which does not offer an education but just a piece of paper. Many teachers do not care about their students, however, some do, and it's a mixed bag. I would recommend checking teachers out before signing up for a class to make sure most review son the professors are favorable, otherwise I would pass. It's not really a college experience, but the upper east side location is a good one and accessible tithe train which is good for travel. My advice is that if you can afford to go elsewhere, I would STRONGLY recommend it because you will not learn anything from this school and you'll just have a huge headache with the staff all the time. Most of the people who give this place a bad review and the many many similarities in complaints should send red flags to prospective students.
