Great school if you get involved. Awesome health science program and cool volunteer opportunities. At first I found the campus a little bit overwhelming, but now I could not imagine being anywhere else. Faculty is helpful, there are a couple of duds so check ratemyprofessor first. Finding a good group of friends is easy. Students work hard, but it is not as tense an environment as UVA. Great party atmosphere, but a bunch of other activities to do if that is not your thing.

I really wanted to learn more about JMU, so I have some questions I hope you could help me with for a school project! Describe your experiences in the dorm. What have your roommates been like? Did you get along with your R.A.? What are the pros and cons of living in the dorms? How do you manage your time? When and where do you study? How much work do you actually have in each of your classes? How many hours per week are you studying/writing papers/doing lab reports/etc? Describe an extracurricular activity you have joined and how it has impacted your time in college.
