Major: Nursing (This Major's Salary over time)
The nursing program at this college is far too small. Be warned that UMASS will NOT accept transfers into their Nursing program; you must have your ADN/RN first. This will be nearly impossible at GCC since there are only 150 nursing slots each year. Unless you plan on sitting on your butt waiting for a slot and taking classes just to fill time, your best bet is to start at UMASS as a freshman in their Nursing program. Also? The "Associates Degree in Nursing" is actually a three year program. Skip the BS and go to UMASS for the BSN…most Massachusetts healthcare facilities won't consider ADNs for hire.
