This will be my first year at RCC. I previously took a course at Fullerton and the difference in pretty much EVERYTHING is stark!! The faculty are NEVER available. They do not answer phones, they do not care if you have been waiting in line forever to speak to a counselor, they'll dismiss you without another chance. You have to wait a LONG frickent time to see anyone to help you get a career plan. What I've done, is sadly taken the advice of other schools career planners and worked my own class schedule. If you have any trouble and need tech assistance, don't expect it to be prompt. Their phone system has been down for months and will probably never be up. I'm taking this Eng 1-A course and can tell you the teacher is HORRIBLE. First day of class based on his curriculum we were supposed to review IMPORTANT key concepts of the course, we did…most of them. But the entire 2 hours of class (with no brakes) was all about his fkn broken knee, kids and his poor Spanish learned through his Spanish wife. Oh, and sports, and mind you when half your class or more, is composed of some of us females who can care less about how much you like to handle balls, it becomes irrelevant and a waste of your time to have to listen to this douche. To top it off, arrogance seems to be his only skill. Do not expect help from this guy. Save yourself the trouble and go to another school. Unless you want the mediocre teaching approach this school encourages, and not learn a damn thing before you transfer to a REAL university, then so be it. Stay mediocre. I'm stuck with it cause I had to pay $450 tuition and missed the deadline for cancellation. But if you can, RUN and don't look back!!
