Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
Butte is a great place to learn and they try to add classes that allow the students to explore and find themselves. They also try with the clubs. The key word here is try. It's not very successful at the moment. It's a lovely school with the dream of being better. The location is a catch 22. It's in the middle of two cities, with mountains and fields in view, horses, mountain lions, skunks oh my! lol. Which is awesome but you're stranded out there for the majority of the time. They used to have trees galore and grass and student made trails leading to classes but they replaced it all with manicured lawn grass and concrete. It's almost completely non smoking except on the outskirts of the parking lot. The bus system is very workable and helpful. There isn't really a 'school body' and its hard to feel connected to the school. It's one of the first and I believe the largest solar energy school system in California.
