Look, NJIT is a good school if you are the right person. The right person is from New Jersey, wants a career in engineering or a technology related field, doesn't wanna go out of state, likes being around all kinds of people, and is independent, hardworking, and has drive.

Don't come here and think it's like a typical college. Don't come here to study theater or any pure or theoretical field. Go to Rutgers if you wanna study something like that. NJIT is all about applied disciplines, engineering, etc.

If you're the right person NJIT has tons of resources for you to succeed. Students here are very humble, hardworking, and creative. A lot of people are doing cool things like interning at NASA, conducting research at Fermilab, inventing all kind of things, etc.

The best students go to grad school at Standford and the Ivy Leagues and get jobs at big-name companies like Exxon.

The president is always working to bring more opportunity and success to the campus everyday. He does a great job at creating a culture of success.

Of course, I have to admit one bad thing. The professors are pretty terrible at teaching. However, I believe that engineering professors are bad wherever you go. The only reason NJIT has a worse reputation for professors is because there is a higher ratio of engineering and tech teachers here. If you look at the other schools with the worse professors you'll see other engineering universities like Georgia Tech.

So that is the one thing you have to suck up. Try to work around it and make the best of it. The engineering professors are pretty disorganized and incomprehensible.

But besides that NJIT is pretty good for NJ students who wanna become engineers or something related.
