Texas college is a horrible place to go to. You shouldn't spend thousands of dollars and have to just "deal with" so many issues. Rarely is an attempt ever made to resolve an issue on the administration level. You are passed around until you're out of time. but they will gladly accept your money. Don't be fooled. Yes it is a HBCU but the administration does not care about the students. They care that the students are spending money. I was told flat out by a teacher to withdraw from a class because I couldn't afford a text book. That's not even the worst to happen to me during my 4 year stay at texas college. After 4 years of attending school I hand in a graduation application only to be told that 3 of the classes that I was transferring from other schools would not be accepted. This would not have been an issue if they had told me this FOUR YEARS AGO. But does the school try to help me? no they give me the run around. I spent 4 years at TC. I could have taken those courses during this time period. But never mind that, The classes were the exact same classes down to the course description. When this was brought up the administration at Texas college questioned the accreditation of both of my previous schools. Both well established schools. Anything to squeeze an extra buck from you. and don't get me started on support or lack there of for the sports teams. Save yourself some grief and money. go elsewhere. you'll have a much more enjoyable experience.

TLDR; TC aint worth the stress go somewhere else.
