Major: Archaeology (This Major's Salary over time)
Dickinson's Archaeology department is absolutely awful. I was a major there and am currently in grad school for archaeology. Maggidis and Bruno, the only archaeology faculty, are terrible and did not prepare me at all for my career. Maggidis is a lazy, uninterested professor who teaches his classes that the Minoans sailed to Michigan and mined copper because Indians didn't and couldn't… Bruno has no confidence, knows next to nothing about archaeology, presents blatantly inaccurate information in class, and was a terribly unhelpful advisor. Stay away from Dickinson if you want to study archaeology - there are so many great programs (often hidden in anthro departments, don't rule them out like I did).
