This school is very close minded - sure there are some gay/lesbian students but not a lot. The LGBTQ community here is definitely lacking. Being a queer person myself I can definitely say its non-existent. I feel like theres no support what so ever. The theatre and dance majors practically run the school and most of them are pretentious and snooty. There are very few students who are individuals in this school…People will walk around dressing and acting the same. Typically wearing PINK or NorthFace. There is a HUGE population of poser "stoners" here and there is nothing else to do besides drink and smoke on the weekends. The campus definitely does not feel safe because there seems to be many male students who will roam around creeping on chicks (mainly at night) Typically jocks. The diversity is pretty low and PoC tend to stick with each other same for whites. Huge international population that also sticks with each other. Friendliness wise, some are friendly most are not. If you are a cool wholesome hippie/hipster type of person who doesn't doesn't come from an rich family you probably wont have many friends. You make friends for convenience here not for long-term purposes- which is horrible and sad.

Academic wise it isn't that great. Professors seem like they want to fail you more than help you have the time, and the class work is dumbed down, mainly for the football players that are all really dumb. The advisors will help you partially. If you want to transfer they most likely wont help you at all.

All in all this college is horrible if your a dance major you'll probably have the best time. If your a fake person you probably wont.
