One of my teachers is listed on the Iowa Sexual Predators list and yet the college is not doing anything about this teacher. One shooting a few weeks ago and now windows were shot out. no one told me this until an RA told me.

Students here also get good grades for two semesters and then IWCC makes you take tests using ROC - Then they manually drop your grade to F on purpose.

the Tour this year of the Dorms looked good since you get to see the first apartment near the elevator, what you did not see is the damage done by burst pipes when the staff did not turn on the heat. there is tons of mold in the place and pipes that are damaged.eletrical outlests and light switches are not good at all, they have shorts and usually start to smoke if not get hot. a lot of times they just dont work.

usually the PC are not updated or working properly. and IT forces students to use Google Chrome since the college is being paid to solicit the product. if you use another Browser, check your statements on how much you pay. It looks like they might be charging for non google services.

commentYou make me think twice about going to school on campus. I honestly thought it would be a much better experience. I was very excited for the "dorm" experience, but after reading many "negative" reviews about the campus life I do not know if I should even bother living on campus. I am a calm, respectful, and average quiet/social person. Do you think it depends on the roommate you have or is that irrelevant? I just did my first semester online because my degree is only offered online, but I am going to take one class that is offered on campus and thought that by moving on campus I would familiarize myself with the surroundings and possibly make connections with teachers and students as well. Ugh, this is a face palm to the face. I apologize for the long comment/question.

I attended a community college that was way too small. It had almost 2,000 students enrolled and it was in a town of 5,000 people. So I thought that IWCC would feel better in that regard.
