If you are pre-med and can handle the brain-crushing workload, Wash U is the school for you. If you want to study business or engineering, this university is also a great option. But if you are more inclined towards the humanities and want a good liberal arts education, STAY AWAY. I have been incredibly disappointed by the lack of attention the school pays to its liberal arts. The professors are largely inexperienced and seem to be at the bottom of the university's teaching hierarchy. Halfway through my time here I feel completely lost and unprepared to go to law school, which is my goal after graduation. Not to mention, the student body is surprisingly cliquey and unfriendly with a rapidly growing "jappy" population. Social life is decent, but could really be a lot better for both Greeks and non-Greeks. I'll conclude with this: you are rolling the dice when applying here. I will admit, the people who love it here really do love it. But there seems to be a growing discontent in the student body, and I very much regret picking Wash U.
