Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
The professors in engineering/math/physics are horrible. Look at ratemyprofessors.com to verify this. Most professors give out D's and F's to more than 50% of the class. They are more interested in research than teaching and are arrogant. They just do not care. No customer service. UVIC has no school spirit. Most of the students I met got fed up and transferred to other schools. You can live on campus for first year and then must move off campus due to shortage of housing. You should just visit Victoria on holiday during May to September (when not raining) and skip going to school there. Victoria is a beautiful location.
