Screw the bookstore/textbook companies, and buy all of your books online? You'll save a couple hundred dollars, especially when you buy older editions textbooks. I spend no more than $20 (total) on textbooks every semester. |
Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
I know ATC doesn't pay a phone bill because the Registrar's Office, Financial Aid and the professors never answer the phone. They don't return emails either unless you email them the same question twice. Usually you have to go to the school to get anything done and stay in long lines. The book store line will be extremely long at the beginning of the semester. Expect to stand in line at least an hour. It takes forever for them to post your financial aid but they will send your acceptance letter at least 4-5 times. If you don't pay for your classes, they will purge them at a certain time even though they haven't given you your fin. aid info yet. Then you have to re register for them and most will be closed. The Culinary Arts Dept. has nice bake sales throughout the year. The web site has too many different log ons that you have to remember. Email, grades, financial aid, registration, online classes, etc. It should be just one log on for everything.
