, as it has come to be known as, is okay. The academics here are very easy- even the dimmest, dumbest stoner could easily pass MOST of the classes here, especially the general eds. Majority of the professors simply assign unfulfilling busy work because the intellectual capacity of the student body is too small to do anything much more in-depth than at the high school level. Actually, I take that back. You will do more advanced work in high school then you will here. The faculty are generally nice, approachable, and somewhat knowledgeable in their subjects, but are frustrated because the students are too slow and dumb to tackle even slightly advanced concepts. HOWEVER- there are SOME students here who actually want to transfer to reputable universities, and they run/take part in stellar honors programs and clubs. If you take advantage of these clubs and honors societies, and stay ontop of your grades, you can easily transfer to top notch universities. Get to know your professors- they honestly want to help you and are so excited when the rarity of an intelligent student shows up.
