Note : this is partial review on ONLY ONE SIDE of saint peter's university, Office of Resident life. However, as a student, I can ensure that the saint peter's university is, in general, a complete utter joke. The Office of Residence Life is not a place of competence or effectiveness in meeting the needs of Saint Peter's University students, and I have experienced many neglectful and/or prejudiced behaviors. In general, Office of Residence Life of Saint Peter's University seems to not meet the expectation to which an administration office in a college should be held. There are too many cases where the Residence Life personnel do not solve or even address problems. Rules are not enforced, particularly rules that dictate appropriate behavior for students in the dorms, such as noise regulations and regulation of threatening and/or disruptive behavior. Residence Life personnel, including RA's and those in the Residence Life office, seem to prefer to persecute and/or demonize those people that would demand solutions to serious problems instead of going through the inconvenience of working hard to make Saint Peter's a better place for us students to live. RA's and not properly trained and personnel are not active in completing their duties, often times, or engaging with students. I have even had experiences with Residence Life dismissing situations of harassment and danger in the dorms and addressing students with racial stereotypes and prejudiced attitudes. In short, Residence Life does not fulfill its purpose of ensuring students a safe place to study and live or pursuing effective problem-solving.
