Major: Computer Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
For STEM and engineering I think UMBC is great. Personally, I was accepted into MIT, my dream school, but when I went to visit that school I was not as impressed as I was by UMBC. We got to speak with the president, lots of intelligent students who are NOT all of one demographic, and faculty that are doing great things. I do plan to go to graduate school at a big name but for undergrad I don't think any other school could have been as perfect for me as UMBC. It doesn't hurt that I'm walking away with on campus research experience, three internships under my belt, and $0 in debt. More like I made money than anything.
