I finished up my B. A. at Metropolitan State in Saint Paul. I have to say this was a wonderful expereience. The school tutition for the area is dirt cheap. However, the school provides a challenging work environment with understanding teachers. I have attended many colleges as a student. This was the first school that teachers offered a student centered learning environment. Since this school is located in Minnesnowda there are occasional snow storms. One of my professors offered students to bring their kids to school if that would help their daily obstacles of juggeling parenting and being a full-time student.

In fact, Metro State does have student organizations that can be formed or joined on Orgsync. I have been to large state schools that rarely offere such fun outings that I was able to participate with at Metro. Most schools, just care about sports and Mascots. AKA (War games)

After all we are adults if you want to participate in school jump-in.
If you need to make appointment with an advisor just call set one up or email. Admittedly, Metro State academic caledar does not always makes sense. However, common sense does prevail.

I have to say the Library at the Main Campus Dayton's Bluff is Top Notch. Furthermore, there is many online resources that can be checked out. Bottom Line is to be successful at Metro it is essential to be aware of all the resources that are made available to you to be successful.

Overall, you get in what you put in. The students are focused on learning. Which is refreshing to have engaging discussion while learning different perspectives. I enjoyed Metro State so much that I am back for more…I am obtaining my MBA from the College of Management.
