How do you think the school can be improved in the long run? |
Major: Unknown (This Major's Salary over time)
Its not just the faculty that may be at issue here, but the quality of the administration. For example the CIO is quite arrogant, does not speak with undergraduates feels like we are almost beneath his level if we attempt to do so (his background is a bit laughable, like a former support manager who got lucky). Seems to be the same with all of the administration. That feeling oozes over a bit to Faculty but at least my strong feeling is that the faculty has banged it head against a wall for so long, they have given up and just grind out degrees based on state mandates and industry standards, nothing more (experience means very little here).Busy work in classrooms is way too common. If you look at who's heading departments, in more than a few cases, its hard to see why ? Many of them don't even have real world experience or even a basic PhD.SUNY Polytechnic… hardly.Your money is best spent at another school. If your in HS, look elsewhere. I did this because I wanted to save money and got trapped a bit in the system, many schools wont take their transfer credits, going elsewhere would have cost me in time… time is money… do the math 1st. Not a great value for the money.
