I have had a negative experience with over half of the professors when push comes to shove. My main professor, who was also in charge of our whole department, never answered emails, handed assignments back almost never or the following quarter, and was condescending to most students. I only had experience with her lack of emailing skills and never receiving feedback on my work but I watched her disrespect and tear apart many of my peers. It was not right. I had other professors that never answered emails, never gave feedback on work, or said they would provide you with something and then never respond to you again.

I also have had a horrible time trying to get in touch with anyone on campus for any kind of help. During my student teaching quarter, my hours were often 7am-5pm or later, so many of the help lines at the University were closed by the time I got out of school. I would try to send emails instead then with questions I had about a requirement, school email system, or problem I was having. I had about nine emails simply go unanswered over the quarter.

Also, when I finally completed my education, I felt highly unprepared compared to friends who went to other Washington state schools for the same degree. And this is not because I slacked in school or missed classes. I was there about 98% of the time and received mostly A's. I am highly unimpressed with the quality of Central's programs and very disappointed that I decided to spend $35,000 here.
