I am a high school student who is enrolled and taking multiple college classes concurrently with High School classes. Initially I was taking evening classes but this campus is very very unsafe at night. I actually had someone follow me to my car. The incident was reported and campus security's advice was to switch to day classes if I was afraid of the dark. I now take one day class. The evening division faculty was friendlier and more helpful than the daytime faculty and staff. Having more contact with daytime administrators I have come to realize the school administration is not there to help or advise students. This school is fine to supplement high school classes but do not rely on the staff to take an academic interest in you personally and don't be surprised if you find the students employees and clerks to be on the mean side and resentful of others. I strongly suggest you have your own plan, avoid this campus and the surrounding area at night and realize Palomar is a community college and does not offer the education or degree that a four year university does.
