SFU is an old concrete business on a hill masquerading as an institution of higher learning. The basic problem is that it does not provide an environment conducive to learning. The degree is worth less than the paper it's printed on (BSc here) and the amount of busy-work you need to do to achieve this degree is staggering (over 5 years). I feel as though my undergraduate education is lacking so far behind when I meet undergrads from other institutions (most notably U of T or UBC). I would recommend only going here for a business degree or maybe Economics and rush through it as fast as possible. Don't get involved and don't expect to make friends.
