I'm a fashion design student going for my associates at Wade College. The good thing about this college is that it gives you a wide range of opportunities in the design and merchandising industry. Also since it is a small college you get more one on one attention or extra help if needed. But on the flip side since it is a small college there is a minimum amount of professors teaching each class. This is a serious problem because since there is only one professor teaching one or more classes that leaves no flexibility for students to pick when and what time they want to take certain classes. There is also no housing offered to the students who go here so every student who attends this college has no choice but to commute everyday. Most students live really far from the school and takes them 1-2 hours each day just to get to class on time. The amount of work assigned to the students is to much given within a short time period. This causes students to rush through the material to fast not fully understanding the subject which is a extreme issue. I would only advise you to attend this school if you really want hurry up and go straight into the workforce or is older and looking to get a degree in a profession you just now decided to undertake. Please do not attend this school if your coming fresh out of high school and your looking for the college experience with parties and living on your own because you won't find it here you will be disappointed because there is no social life apart from going to class everyday.
