FDU is a good school if you are only seeking out a quality education when you get to college. That's the biggest highlight, and it will also be a great experience to those who join Greek Life and have good friends to hang out with. Because, quite frankly, there is nothing to do on campus. I go to the football and basketball games once in a while, but the football team loses pretty much every game. There is a pep rally and homecoming game in the beginning of the year, but no dance. People turn up a lot here, some to the point where it is way too much. And the cafeteria food, I'll admit, usually easy to work with. They do have a variety of food in the cafe, but it is the same food almost everyday, every week, every month. Usually what I do is make something at the Wok, or put something together by grabbing foods from different parts of the cafe. Dorm life, is pretty cool, as long as you have a good, respectful, roommate, which I do have, but if you are living with someone you do not like, it is going to suck. The dorms alone, though are easy to work with. I live in Hamilton, and there are actually pretty big, about the size of an average teenage bedroom.

Any advice I can offer is that you are looking for a school that offers a quality education, provides a lot of on campus events, has a lot famous visitors coming to visit the school, and is not too costly, then FDU is not for you. I'm paying a lot to be here and I don't even feel like I got my money's worth except for when it came to educational aspects and career guidance. The campus is in Madison as well, so yes there are things to do around the area, but you would definitely need a car. I would not recommend walking because it is pretty far and the campus is a bit secluded. Last, but not least, the parties. Literally, the best campus parties here are the ABC parties that occur twice every semester. But that is it, the frat parties are hard to get to unless you know someone in the frat and have a way to get there. Otherwise, the struggle is too real.
