It's a hardcore engineering school. Most of people here are just looking for a job after graduation, and they are not usually interested in intellectual topics. The placement is amazing, and you will love it if you are a hardworking engineering nerd who loves to calculate the circuits or statics or thermodynamics all the time. Oh by the way, you usually do not have many choices here because the credits are hard to transfer and the grading policy is tougher than most colleges and there is few non-engineering options for you. If you are unsure about your career or you want to study math/physics/chem, maybe there are some better options.
