I also agree with the ratings for Iona College. The current administrators at Iona, only care about buying real estate, and building new dorms. They don't care about the current students attending, about the parents using their hard-earned money to pay the highly excessive tuition and fee rates, about helping alum that graduate. Once you graduate, you are on your own, except, you will get letters from Iona, asking you to contribute to their never-ending funding raising campaigns. I'm saddened with Iona's lack of concern for students and alums. Iona's Administrators only care about MONEY.

Iona's Career Development Office is understaffed, and care mostly about business students. The organizations, that attend Iona's job fairs are minimal, and are mostly hiring for commission and sales jobs.

The current Administrators are more concerned with their image and buildings, and are not focused on the needs of the students, and Alums - helping them get jobs to assist them pay back the BIG LOANS - they took out, to pay for Iona's BIG tuition.

I think Iona College will only Move the World backwards if things don't change quickly internally. The Administrators need to Move - move out from behind their desks, and take a look at what is going on, OR NOT GOING ON, in so many departments.

The inside of so many of Iona's departments are falling apart. The campus looks nice on the outside, but the inside is crumbling. The morale is low. I felt, so many times, like I was disturbing staff and faculty, when I asked questions - and I'm the customer.

I sure didn't receive my Return on Investment (ROI) going to Iona College. Please, parents and students, ask questions and ask to see reports if you visit Iona College. Don't just listen to the tour guides. Ask for reports for: What percentage of students were hired after graduation? Where were they hired?

What are the salary ranges? How many full-time Professors work in each Academic Major Department? How long do Adjunct Professors stay at Iona College? Why? Are Staff members paid salaries to live in Westchester County? What is the turn-over rate for Iona College staff? What percentage of recent alums donate back to Iona? Are recent alums, within the past 5 - 10 years happy with their employment?

Don't just listen, go prepared. It's your money - and your life, so do extensive research and homework. Growing in building and size is wonderful, but not at the expense of the current student's academic and career preparation.

Iona is run like a haphazard business; nothing is planned or developed fully, and the Administrators at the top - keep making their BIG LARGE salaries, as the student academic support services keep going down the drain. It's very sad.

I wouldn't recommend attend Iona College to high school students until I see major changes internally.
