This university is not for everyone!! Most of the people here, while friendly enough, are rich white kids (no joke 65% from Long Island) and will only interact with people they know through campus activities. If you are not part of a sport (which really seemed like the minority) you MUST join either Greek Life or a club to have any sort of social life. As for bars, clubs, and even house parties expect to take a taxi or train to get there. WORST OF ALL they tell you that its located in affluent Fairfield, CT which actually isnt true, once you leave the extremely tiny campus you are immediately in Bridgeport, which rivals most inner cities. The cops break up every party and because they deal with real criminals they dont have time for drunk college kid bullshit and wont hesitate to be complete assholes. EVERY PARTY there are people standing outside telling drunk people not to venture too far down the street because they dont want to be held liable for when you get jumped. Also the parties consist of the entire student population packed into a basement, making you feel like a sardine the entire time. I was extremely unhappy there the entire time and ended up transferring. Dorms are frequently searched and heavy fines handed out for the smallest amount of contraband, i received a 2 weekend suspension and a $150 fine for a .5 bag of weed.

HOWEVER i will say this: 68% female population, and these ladies are FINE. Its a beautiful sight, and the ONLY thing I miss.
